MOHAU MODISAKENG SOLO EXHIBITION AT NATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL, GRAHAMSTOWN

As part of being chosen as one of the 2016 winners of the prestigious Standard Bank Young Artist Award, Mohau Modisakeng is presenting a solo exhibition of new work, titled Lefa la Ntate, at the National Arts Festival, Grahamstown, South Africa.

The Festival is on from 30 June to 10 July, with Mohau’s exhibition showing from 2-10 July.

This exhibition will then be travelling to other locations across South Africa: later in 2016, to Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum, Port Elizabeth, and IZIKO South African National Gallery, Cape Town, as well as in 2017, to the Johannes Stegmann Art Gallery, University of the Free State, the Tatham Art Gallery, Pietermaritzburg, and the Standard Bank Gallery, Johannesburg.
