Kudzanai-Violet Hwami’s work is currently included in an exhibition at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe which deals with issues around the ways in which women are marginalised and oppressed, both in the art world and in society at large. The show spans multiple disciplines, including painting, photography, video and performance, and features the work of five female artists from Zimbabwe and the diaspora.
